Jeremy understands that as someone who teaches Law Related Education (LRE), his role is to prepare students for responsible citizenship by promoting instruction about rules, laws and the legal system.  He actively involves his students towards meeting the goals of the Mock Trial program, which include giving the students a better understanding of the legal system, from the rules of evidence to proper court decorum.  Increasing awareness of the importance of law in a democratic society and strengthening the understanding of our fundamental rights are part of the foundation of what he teaches those students who are involved on his Mock Trial teams.  But he doesn’t just keep things to himself.  He plans scrimmages with other teams in Southern Arizona so that they can gain the confidence, poise, critical thinking, and teamwork skills necessary to compete in regional competitions.  He is a great asset to LRE, Mock Trial, his school and his community. Congratulations to Jeremy’s Mock Trial team which will be competing at the Arizona Mock Trial State Competition!
