Project Citizen Classroom Design Training

Event Overview

New and previously trained educators are invited to this one day training that will assist them in implementing the Project Citizen Program in their 5th-12th grade classroom. Under the guidance of skilled Project Citizen trainers, participants will develop an understanding of public policy, a plan for their first weeks of program implementation, and working knowledge of the program. Included in this training will be the connection to AZ State Standards, ideas for evaluating student work, team teaching strategies, and more. Participants will leave the training with their Project Citizen plan in place. In addition to receiving classroom assistance, participants will delve deeper into their local governments by interacting with elected officials; from the School Board to the State Legislature. Join us for a training that will ignite your enthusiasm for empowering your students!!!

Upon completion of training, participants receive a $100 Amazon Gift Card to aid them in their classroom implementation
