Event Overview

With greater emphasis on electronic programs and apps geared towards the primary age student, this age group needs education and skills to keep safe online that are developmentally appropriate and meaningful. In this academy, primary students will learn the benefits of forming positive in-person relationships versus just being online in their free time. Students will also learn how to report online behaviors from others that make them uncomfortable or feel unsafe at home or school. These lessons will provide students with practice for keeping passwords and other personal information safe and how to share their online experience with the adults in charge of their safety.
