Lt. Eric Williams has 27 years of policing experience and currently serves as the Training Section Lieutenant for the City of Scottsdale Police Department.  His responsibilities include providing training for the departments 700 sworn and civilian employees His previous assignments include supervision of the School Resource Unit.  Eric spent 7 years as an SRO, where he developed a number of innovative youth and adult programs. Eric has served as a Regional Director for NASRO and as the President of the Arizona School Resource Officers Association. Eric is still active with the National Association of Field Training Officers teaching the Adult Learning curriculum. Additionally, Eric has spent 19 years with the police departments Crisis Negotiations Team where he currently serves as the team commander. Eric holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Eastern Michigan University.
