Challenger Middle School

Norma Jean Higuera began her commitment to the We the People Program as a judge and has gone on to participate in Middle School Showcases, sending 4 teams to the National Invitational at George Mason University Washington D.C, training participants in the JMLP and has completed organizing the We the People Region 3 High School Competition and Middle School Showcase at Desert View High School.

Norma Jean has taught English and Social Studies at Challenger Middle School in Tucson Arizona for the last 14 years. She remains deeply committed to sharing the We the People curriculum with all school districts in Southern Arizona.
