Tara is Foundation faculty for many of the Foundation’s programs including Project Citizen, iCivics AZ, Kids Voting AZ, and We the People. Her passion for civic education is evident in her work ethic and wealth of knowledge. She takes on many roles and strives to engage educators and promote civic education in schools and communities. During the lesson development stage, Tara is highly professional and communicates frequently with the co-facilitator. She seeks to be inclusive and navigates timelines and the incorporation of LRE’s best practices with ease. Tara is an inspiration to participants when new content and skills are being taught. When participants ask her how to explain various concepts to students or how to use a particular teaching tool, she is quick to step in and offer implementation strategies. Her ability to multitask and maintain an effective presence during trainings is extremely beneficial to the participants. The Foundation’s LRE programs have been enriched by Tara and we thank her for her continued support!
