Are you 16? Do you love democracy? Would you like to make a little extra money? If you answered yes to all of those questions than you may be great applicant to work as a student election assistant for the Step UP program at the polls during this  election. "The Step UP program allows 16 and 17 year old high school students to work at a polling place on Election Day. The students will be working together with registered voters of Maricopa County to run the polling place". Student election assistance must meet all the requirements, such as being a U.S. citizen, filling out an application and attending training to qualify. See a full list of requirements here. Those who qualify and are able to work the whole election day, from 5:30 a.m. to approximately 8:00 p.m. will be paid $125 on Election Day.
