FIRST FEMALE FOOTBALL PLAYER

Written by
Toni Harris is making history by becoming the first female football player in a non kicker position to sign a letter of intent to play at Central Methodist University in Missouri. Becca Longo, from Basha High School in Chandler Arizona, was the first woman to sign a letter of intent back in 2017 as a kicker with Adams State University in Colorado. Unlike Becca Longo though Toni Harris will be playing defensive back. Toni Harris hopes to one day play for the National Football League. With female players gaining momentum in sports she just might make it.
