Arizona is officially hitting its well known summer temperatures and as it does everyone is looking for a way to beat the heat; and one of the most popular ways is to hit the pool. Few things are more refreshing and more relaxing than taking a dip but you always need to remember to be safe in the water. That is why cities all over Arizona are offering free swim programs at local pools. Phoenix is carrying on it's 27 year tradition of the Itty Bitty Beach Party, which offers free swim lessons and safety information. Tucson and the surrounding area are offering free and $2 lessons for those who qualify, and Bullhead City Morning Kiwanis Club is sponsoring free swim lessons. If you would like to learn to swim or maybe just improve your current skills check out your local city's parks and recreation centers to get a free or low cost lesson. Always be safe around water.
