Event Overview

This is a two-day in-person training.

On Day 1, SCSSWs attend with their peers to clarify program requirements, share tools to meet those requirements, and spend time sharing resources and building collaborative connections with other SCSSWs.

Day 2 is an in-depth training on the Foundations in School Safety. On Day 2, SCSSWs join with administrators to learn about the School Safety Program’s philosophy, requirements, roles and responsibilities, and school safety-related topics.

All Schools: Required to attend either an in-person (within Maricopa County) or a virtual (outside Maricopa County) 2 full-days, live, interactive training.

Who Attends? All returning and new, School Counselors and School Social Workers, funded by the School Safety Program for FY 2027.
