    Answer:

Arizona Revised Statute section 28-1381 makes it unlawful for a person to drive or be in actual physical control of a vehicle in this state under any of the following circumstances:

    A. While under the influence of intoxicating liquor, any drug, a vapor releasing substance containing a toxic, or any combination of liquor, drugs or vapor releasing substances if the person is impaired to the slightest degree
    B. If the person has an alcohol concentration of .08 or more within 2 hours of driving or being in actual physical control of a vehicle
    C. While there is any drug or its metabolite in the person’s body
    D. If the vehicle is a commercial motor vehicle that requires a commercial driver license and the driver has an alcohol concentration of .04 or more

    What this means to you:

The legal blood alcohol level limit in Arizona for the average adult is .08 however, a person can still get in trouble if they have less than that if they are found to be impaired to the slightest degree. To be safe iff you’re going to drive, don’t drink and if you’re going to drink, don’t drive!

    Additional Arizona Laws:
Arizona Revised Statute section 4-101(18) states the “Legal drinking age” means twenty-one years of age or older.
