Quest High School

Nubia Ornelas has been an officer with the Phoenix Police Department since 2019. The 2023-2024 school year is her second year as a School Resource Officer at Quest High School. Prior to her career in law enforcement, Officer Ornelas  received her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Northern Arizona University in 2014. She worked as a teacher from 2014 to 2019 in Phoenix, AZ. Officer Ornelas appreciates the opportunity to mentor youth while being able to fulfill her love for teaching. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, doing outdoor activities such as hiking and running.
