Arizona Law:
An adult is a person 18 years of age or older. (A.R.S. 1-215(3))
What does this mean?
Once you reach the age of 18 you are considered an adult under the law however, schools may have their own policies about who may alter and update school records. Emancipated minors and young adults who are no longer under the care of their parents may have to go through special procedures with which school administrators may not be readily familiar. Adults who wish to handle their own records may want to work with the school to learn more about the procedures or speak with an attorney.
