Court is a formal setting, and all visitors are expected to dress and behave in a way that reflects the seriousness and dignity of the proceedings. Clothing with profanity, references to drugs or violence, halter tops, or revealing outfits are not considered appropriate. Hats must be removed before entering the courtroom. Phones must be turned off and put away at all times, and absolutely no recording of any kind is allowed in the courtroom.

For security reasons, weapons, drugs, and other prohibited items are not allowed inside the courthouse. Items that cannot pass through security may need to be stored in lockers, if available. It is also recommended that families avoid bringing young children, as court days can be long.
