Project Citizen E-Portfolio Volunteer

Virtual E-Portfolio Judges, please complete your registration no later than March 1, 2024 for virtual judging anytime from March 11-25, 2024.

We are looking for volunteers for the 2024 Project Citizen Showcase! Just like last year, middle school students will research a problem in their community and attempt to resolve it through public policy. This student empowering event is only possible because of community members like you! We are looking for virtual judges for the student e-portfolios in March.

Volunteering for the e-portfolio includes the following:

• Receiving a link to 2-3 e-portfolios during the second week of March
• Reviewing a scoring guideline video prior to scoring the e-portfolios
• Scoring the e-portfolios using a rubric
• Sending the scores back to the Foundation by March 25

This means you can volunteer from home and during your own time! You can complete the scoring anytime between March 11-25, 2024.
 

Showcase Overview

The State Project Citizen showcase is held each year, in which teams present their e-portfolios and presentations on a problem in their community and their action plan for solving it before community members on judging panels. The top 10 winning teams of each regional showcases are invited to compete in the State Showcase held in Phoenix. The e-portfolio winner of the State Showcase is eligible to send their portfolio to the National Showcase held in July.    

The Project Citizen showcases are available to all Arizona middle and high school classrooms.
