Cell

Each youth in the juvenile detention center is assigned their own individual cell. These single-person rooms are equipped with a bed, sink, toilet, and metal mirror. In their rooms, youth are allowed to have basic necessities such as clothing, a pillow, blankets, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, and toilet paper. They may also have personal items like a stress ball, journal, pencil, two books, and a religious book. Through positive behavior, they can earn additional privileges like a family photo, a poster, or a stuffed animal for their room.
