Visitors enter through the juvenile detention lobby door and must leave all personal belongings outside of the facility or use the lockers provided to store their items; this includes purses. Visitors must have a photo form I.D. and all visitors are scanned with a metal detector prior to their visit.  During the visit, if inappropriate conversation, such as cussing or arguing, occurs, the visit will be terminated for that day.

Visitors are allowed to bring in age appropriate books to give to their child.  Staff will take the items and provide them to the youth once they have returned to the unit.  After the juvenile is finished with this item, it is then donated to the unit for the rest of the youth to enjoy.
