REGION 3 - Project Citizen Portfolios (ONLY REGION 3)
Program Overview
As a component of Project Citizen, entire classes of students work cooperatively to identify a public policy problem in their community. They then research the problem, evaluate alternative solutions, develop their own solution in the form of a public policy, and create a political action plan to enlist local or state authorities to adopt their proposed policy. The Project Citizen Arizona Program is available to all Arizona middle and high schools and classrooms.
Helpful Tips for Completing the Registration Process
- Member = Student
- Enter the exact total of students (members).
- Do not enter teacher information in the first section. You will be asked in the "Educator Information" section to enter teacher contact info.
- Accurately complete the aggregate demographic data questions as that information is required and shared with our funders (Arizona Supreme Court and the Center for Civic Education) for continued funding for future years.
