Door to Custody

In some cases, a juvenile may be taken into custody after the hearing. If that happens, they are taken directly from the courtroom through this door to the detention center’s booking area. Families do not meet with them at that point but can schedule a visit through the detention center afterward. To determine who is allowed to visit and when, families may contact the juvenile detention center directly and/or the juvenile probation officer.
