Hygiene

Each cell in the juvenile detention center is equipped with a toilet and a small sink to assist with personal hygiene. In addition, there is a designated hygiene area within the pod. For daily hygiene, youth are provided with deodorant, a toothbrush, toothpaste, lotion, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Hygiene items are stored in a drawer in the staff office and distributed as needed.
