Civics that Empowers All Students (CEAS) requires control teachers to help evaluate the effectiveness of the program. Control teachers can earn a $300 stipend vy completing an online teacher knowledge pre-survey and post-survey, as well as administering online pre-surveys and post-surveys to their students. The Foundation does not receive the survey results
To be eligible to be a control teacher, you must:
- teach a class, such as social studies or American Government in grades4-8 that aligns with the We the People curriculum (see table of contents linked below).
- Have at least one class composed of 30% or more underserved students
- NOT use the We the People curriculum or have attended a multi-day We the People training.
