Event Overview

This virtual course will walk participants through the requirements and importance of emergency planning on their campus to best prepare their students and staff to respond to threats and emergencies. Throughout the session, attendees will learn about threat mitigation strategies that they can implement on their campus and be provided with best practices for drills and real events.

Required Attendance

Returning District Administrator, Site Administrator (or designee if applicable), Agency Supervisor, Counselor, or Social Worker positions that have completed their first year annual training requirements, will attend one SSP Advanced Course this year. You will get to choose from a catalog of courses for a learning opportunity that best fits the needs on your campus or in your district.
