SSO Training
Event Overview
This in-person training will be a live, interactive training. Annual SSO Training shall introduce School Safety Officers (SSO) to the philosophy of the School Safety Program, ADE program personnel, 3 roles of a SSO and its alignment to the SRO position, Law Related Education (especially the ‘best practices’ and introduction to Universal LRE lessons), as well as how to work most effectively within the SSPT (school safety and prevention team) on each campus.
If you work at a police department located outside of Maricopa County, please do not register for the in-person training.
