Special Programs Offered

The Journey program is a court ordered substance abuse program. This 8-week live-in program allows the youth to get treatment for their addiction while maintaining their studies. This program incorporates educational options from the accredited Yavapai Accommodation District. It also incorporates opportunities to go out into the community to do service work. The Journey youth are also able to do fun community outings including hiking, cross fit, and going to the planetarium. In addition, this group of youth are able to work in the garden and provide seasonal vegetables and spices to the cafeteria.

The Bridges Center is where youth who are ineligible to be detained, can be held for 24 hours as a safe place. While here, a safety plan is constructed, and the youth are assigned to case workers. The ability for the youth to have access to such an area has demonstrated an 80% success rate in the youth being able to stay in the home and avoid further contact with law enforcement.
