- Teach students strategies to address bullying behavior
- Educate students on their rights and responsibilities with online communications
- Educate youth on the consequences to themselves and others when posting or responding to bullying posts
- Help students learn the importance of gathering more information before reacting to online posts

Participants will sign-in and enjoy a continental breakfast.
9:00 AM Introductions, Student Incentives, & Housekeeping
Introduction of academy faculty and staff. Learn about new student incentives and ordering procedures. Overview of academy objectives and housekeeping.

Participants will get to know their peers.
Lesson 1 The Power of a Post
Participants will engage in a lesson demonstration that teaches youth the difference between appropriate and inappropriate online posts and how to make responsible posting choices.
Lesson 2 The Myth of Online Privacy
Participants will engage in a lesson demonstration that explains the meaning of a digital footprint and how to stay safe online.
Lesson 3 Know Your Rights
Participants will engage in a lesson demonstration that teaches youth their rights and responsibilities with online communication.
Lunch
What Do You Think? Poll Question
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the interactive poll question tool on LawForKids.org.
Escape Room
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the escape rooms on LawForKids.org.
Lesson 4 The Ripple Effect
Participants will engage in a lesson demonstration that teaches youth how reacting to online content can escalate conflict.
Lesson 5 Smart Responses
Participants will engage in a lesson demonstration that teaches youth how to regulate emotions before responding to harmful posts.
Lesson 6 Permanent Action
Participants will engage in a lesson demonstration that teaches youth how online behavior can affect future opportunities.
Wrap Up
Participants will review the training expectations and submit evaluations.
