- Effectively educate students about the consequences of repeated unwanted interactions with peers
- Model and encourage respectful social interactions between students and authority figures
- Facilitate opportunities for students to develop and practice respectful social behaviors

Participants will sign-in and enjoy a continental breakfast.
9:00 AM Welcome, Introductions, & Housekeeping
Introduction of academy faculty and staff. Overview of academy objectives and housekeeping.

Participants will discuss expectations for the academy.
Icebreaker
Participants will get to know their peers.
Lesson 1 Crossing the Line
Participants will engage in a lesson demonstration that teaches youth lawful and unlawful behavior in common settings.
Lesson 2 Right to Say No
Participants will engage in a lesson demonstration that explains what consent means and the consequences of when consent is not obtained.
Lesson 3 Unwanted Attention
Participants will engage in a lesson demonstration that teaches youth to recognize the difference between wanted and unwanted interactions.

Lunch
Lesson 4 That's Not a Joke
Participants will engage in a lesson demonstration that teaches youth the social and legal consequences of teasing, pranking, and hazing.
Lesson 5 Online Interactions
Participants will engage in a lesson demonstration that discusses the risks and potential consequences associated with sexting.
Lesson 6 Conflict Resolution
Participants will engage in a lesson demonstration that teaches effective responses to conflict.
Escape Room
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the escape rooms on LawForKids.org
Wrap Up
Participants will review the training expectations and submit evaluations.
