Participants will sign-in and enjoy a continental breakfast.
9:00 AM Introductions, Student Incentives, & Housekeeping
Introduction of academy faculty and staff. Learn about new student incentives and ordering procedures. Overview of academy objectives and housekeeping.

Participants will discuss expectations for the academy.
Icebreaker
Participants will get to know their peers.
Lesson 1 What is a Mob Mentality?
Participants will engage in a lesson demonstration that teaches youth what mob mentality is using real-life examples.
Lesson 2 Power Against Bullying
Participants will engage in a lesson demonstration that explains bullying as a group behavior and ways to respond.
Lesson 3 Recognizing Online Conflict
Participants will engage in a lesson demonstration that teaches youth what online conflict is and how to recognize warning signs.
Lunch

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the interactive poll question tool on LawForKids.org.
Escape Room
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the escape rooms on LawForKids.org.
Lesson 4 Recognizing In-Person Conflict
Participants will engage in a lesson demonstration that teaches youth what in-person conflict is and how to recognize warning signs.
Lesson 5 Social Media
Participants will engage in a lesson demonstration that teaches youth how online mob mentality can affect real people and how to evaluate information before reacting online.
Lesson 6 Stopping Mob Mentality
Participants will engage in a lesson demonstration that teaches youth strategies to prevent themselves and others from joining in on mob behavior.
Wrap Up
Participants will review the training expectations and submit evaluations.

Participants will be informed of new updates.
