Grades K-2 Arizona Educators
- Download and distribute the Law Day Contest Drawing Sheet to your students.
- AZ students draw draw an example of something from the late 1700s and reimagine it for the future.
- Collect the drawing sheets.
- Teachers select your top 5 submissions for your class.
- Individually scan each selected sheet.
- Upload each sheet individually here - GRADES K-2 beginning January 20, 2026 and no later than March 25, 2026 at 5pm AZ time (put the student's name in the subject line).
- An email will be sent with a link to where the drawings have been posted no later than April 3 at 2pm AZ time.
- Send the live link to parents, friends, the school community, etc. to support your students’ entries by clicking on their favorite!
- The student drawing with the most support will win an iPad.
- The last day to show support on the website is April 24, 2026 by 9pm AZ time.
- Winners will be announced on the website on Law Day - May 1.
Grades 3-5 Arizona Educators

- Collect the drawing sheets.
- Teachers select your top 5 submissions from each of your classes.
- Individually scan each selected sheet.
- Upload each sheet individually here - GRADES 3-5 beginning January 20, 2026 and no later than March 25, 2026 at 5pm AZ time (put the student's name in the subject line).

AZ students pick something that has changed significantly over the past 250 years in America. Create a 5-10 slide slideshow to demonstrate how it has evolved and explain the impact it has had on American society. Please note: Images generated by Artificial intelligence (AI) can be utilized. All written content must be original work without the use of AI.
- Complete the media release form and Checklist handout.
- Collect the slideshows, media release forms, and Checklist handouts.
- Teachers select your top 5 submissions from each of your classes.
- Upload each selected slideshow and signed forms individually - GRADES 6-8 beginning January 20, 2026 and no later than March 25, 2026 at 5pm AZ time (put the student's name in the subject line).
- An email will be sent with a link to where the slideshows have been posted no later than April 3 at 2pm AZ time.

AZ Parents
If your student's classroom is not participating, your child may still participate. Simply follow the rules associated with the grade level for your child and submit! Please indicate in the notes section of the upload page that you are a parent submitting on behalf of your child.
