Event Overview

(Pre-requisite is SSO Asynchronous New Officer Training)

Annual SSO training (For Year 2) shall introduce new School Safety Officers (SSO) who have previously been trained in the asynchronous modality, to the philosophy of the School Safety Program, program personnel, 3 roles of a SSO and its alignment to the SRO position, Law Related Education (especially the ‘best practices’ and introduction to Universal LRE lessons), as well as how to work most effectively within the SSAPT (school safety assessment and prevention team) on each campus.

Required Attendance

All who have completed the SSO Asynchronous New Officer Training.
