New Officer Training
This training is FREE for School Resource Officers and Juvenile Probation Officers who are assigned to a School Safety Program funded site. Free, private hotel accommodations and mileage reimbursement (up to $150) is available for SSP funded officers who work at a school outside of Maricopa County.
Event Overview
This four-day in-person training covers community-oriented policing, the role of the school-based officers, and an introduction to Law Related Education (LRE) as an essential prevention tool.
- Day 1 will be held from 8:00 am - 3:30 pm.
- Day 2 will be held from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm.
- Day 3 will be held from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm.
- Day 4 will be held from 8:30 am - 1:45 pm.

Virtual New Officer Training
This virtual training is FREE for School Resource Officers and Juvenile Probation Officers who are assigned to a School Safety Program funded site. If you are located within Maricopa County, please do not register for this virtual training.
