I have been in many sports such as basketball, softball, volleyball, soccer, and boxing. I have also been in Mesa club, Kids Voting Leadership Council, Student Council, and Youth and government. I am the second youngest in my family I have 3 siblings who are 9, 20, and 23 years old."

Elena Estrada

I have been in many programs such as, Youth And Government, We The People, The Kids Voting Leadership Council and Student Council and two after school clubs such as Stem and Garden club. I have also been in three sports in school such as volleyball, soccer, and softball. I am the youngest in my family and the most adventurous out of my two siblings. The reason I joined Kids Voting is because I really wanted to learn more about the importance of voting and wanted to know more about my community. I have always been interested in politics but never really knew where to start. After joining many programs in school I finally had an idea of political life, and so when I first heard of kids voting I jumped at the opportunity eager to learn more on why voting is important  and how it impacts our everyday life."

Benjamin Corella

Council Member

"I chose to join the council because I wanted to learn and share with others the significance of participating in civil activities, particularly in a community like mine, the small border town of Nogales, Arizona. My goal is to help young individuals understand that their votes can make a difference in our country and that their voices truly matter. As an 8th grader, I hope to set an example in my school community, demonstrating how to be a leader and a role model for others."
