CSI Arizona: Cracking the Case with Forensic Science

Overview:
This academy will equip educators with the skills to bring crime scene investigations (CSI) to life in their classrooms or after-school clubs! Participants will learn the basics of teaching crime scene investigation, evidence collection, and witness questioning. They will explore strategies to teach students how to effectively process crime scenes and analyze various types of evidence. CSI combines law and STEM, making it an excellent way to bring law into math and science lessons. Help students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they work to solve crimes and present their findings! Participants will receive free materials to teach CSI and will learn about the opportunity to participate in the 2026 CSI Arizona Competition for middle and high school students.
