Evaluating Online Communication and its Impact
This LRE Academy is for educators who serve a middle/high school population. SROs/JPOs from a School Safety Program Funded site have the ability to attend for free.
Event Overview
In 2024, both cyberbullying and bullying in school continued to rise. Nearly 22% of youth reported having harassed or made fun of another person online or through text at least once in the past year. Free, private hotel accommodations and mileage reimbursement (up to $150) are available for SSP funded SROs/JPOs who work at a school outside of Maricopa County.

Clearing the Smoke: Vaping and Marijuana Education
This LRE Academy is for educators who serve a middle/high school population. SROs/JPOs from a School Safety Program Funded site have the ability to attend for free.
Event Overview
15% of youth surveyed in 2022 reported having used marijuana (AYS 2022). This training will provide participants with interactive methods to educate youth on the effects of marijuana and vaping on their development and future plans. Free, private hotel accommodations and mileage reimbursement (up to $150) are available for SSP funded SROs/JPOs who work at a school outside of Maricopa County.

Avoiding A Mob Mentality
This LRE Academy is for educators who serve a middle/high school population. SROs/JPOs from a School Safety Program Funded site have the ability to attend for free.
Event Overview
The Youth Result Behavior Survey System reported being threatened or injured with a weapon at school and not going to school because of safety concerns has increased. The lessons provided will address the consequences of aggressive and violent actions. Free, private hotel accommodations and mileage reimbursement (up to $150) are available for SSP funded SROs/JPOs who work at a school outside of Maricopa County.
