Elevating Your Mock Trial Program
Event Overview
Take your Mock Trial program to the next level with this professional learning academy designed for educators who have previous experience coaching or teaching Mock Trial. Building on foundational courtroom knowledge, participants will explore more advanced approaches to case preparation, trial strategy, and student coaching. Through discussion, activities, and collaboration with experienced Mock Trial educators, attendees will gain practical ideas for helping students strengthen their advocacy, critical thinking, and courtroom presentation skills. Whether preparing for the Arizona Mock Trial Tournament or just enhancing classroom implementation, this academy will provide educators with new tools, strategies, and insights to support student success in Mock Trial. Attendees will receive $100 in FREE curriculum resources.
This academy is for middle and high school educators who have previous experience teaching Mock Trial.
Academy Objectives:
- Explore advanced approaches to case preparation and trial strategy
- Strengthen coaching techniques that support student success in Mock Trial
- Gain resources and strategies to strengthen mock trial implementation
- Prepare students for classroom mock trials and/or the Arizona Mock Trial Tournament

- Lack of school involvement
- Lack of understanding of legal consequences
- Lack of understanding rights and responsibilities
- Lack of understanding of the judicial system
