We the People Unit 6 Virtual Workshop

We the People Unit 6 Virtual Workshop

Event Overview

Focusing on the 2025–2026 Unit 6 state question, the session provides educators the opportunity to explore the content in greater depth while discovering ready-to-use lessons and activities for their classrooms. Participants will also benefit from a special presentation by guest scholar Dr. Evan Lowe, Professor at the School of Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership, Arizona State University. Dr. Lowe will unpack one of this year’s official Unit 6 state hearing questions to strengthen educators’ content knowledge to better support student learning and hearing preparation.

Those that attend will be entered into a raffle (if they request it) to win a new edition Level III student textbook (delivered in 2026). The level III book is currently being updated with plans for completion in the spring of 2026.

Unit 6 Hearing Question:

How do modern elections in America differ from those envisioned by the Framers of the Constitution?

  • What has been the impact of political parties on our electoral structures and governmental systems?
  • How have the roles and responsibilities of voters changed over time? What suggestions would you make to increase voter participation?
