In 19 years in law enforcement, Officer Roman worked in several special details within the police department. The last 7 years he has worked as a School Resource Officer in the Phoenix Union and Laveen School Districts.

Officer Roman is currently the Lead instructor for Community Policing at the Phoenix Police Academy. He has been a facilitator for the Arizona Department of Education for the last 3 years. He is also the Vice President of the Arizona School Resource Officers Association for the last 2 years.

In his free time Officer Roman likes working out to relieve stress and spending time with his family.
