George Colebrook is a teacher at Peoria Flex Academy in the Peoria Unified School District. He currently teaches Government, Economics, and AZ/US History. He has worked in the school setting for the last 20 years as a teacher, administrator, and parent volunteer. He received a Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University in Secondary Education with an emphasis in History and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration. He has been a longtime advocate for the programs offered by the Arizona Bar Foundation, having participated and judged We The People, Project Citizen, and Teen Court. He received the John R. Ross Award for Excellence in Related Education in 2008.
